The Model 100 Bead Unseating Fixture is used in conjunction with the Model 70 Tire Plunger Machine to perform the bead unseating test as specified by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 109 which measures the load required to force a passenger car tire bead off a rim. The fixture is adjustable to receive tire sizes from 10 through 24 inches, with a maximum outside diameter of 39.5 inches. RJS Corporation is also the only distributor authorized by ASTM F2663 for the bead unseating anvil.
